The government has paid the hosting fee for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations, with Sports Cabinet Secretary Salim Mvurya confirming a Sh3.9 billion remittance to the Confederation of African Football. Kenya will co-host the 36th edition alongside Tanzania and Uganda, with 28 teams set to compete between June 19 and July 18. The final is expected to be held at the newly constructed Talanta Sports City Stadium.
