Afolabi disclosed that Maria attended Our Lady of Apostles Secondary School, Yaba, Lagos, and was part of the 1998 graduating set. She expressed hope that former classmates or anyone familiar with Maria might come forward with useful information.
“I keep seeing Maria in my dreams, and I just want to be sure she is okay and not in any trouble whatsoever,” the actress wrote.
She added that they shared a mutual friend named Ebun but could not recall Ebun’s surname or current social media handle. According to Afolabi, she and Maria had communicated at some point on social media, but she has since lost contact.
