A new season of Kampala Crème is set to premiere on Sunday, April 12, on Pearl Magic Prime at 8:00 pm (DStv Ch 148, GOtv Ch 303).
The reality show, which follows the lives of Kampala’s female socialites, first premiered in April 2024 and now returns for its 4th season. The latest instalment introduces socialite Tamara Kainembabazi, who replaces Mamideb, who opted not to return.
Tamara joins returning Crème queens Sheena Holm, Primah Kardashi, Umra Murungi and Zahara Toto. Producers say her sharp-witted, unshaken and unpredictable personality is expected to shake up alliances, stir drama and challenge existing comfort zones within the group.
They add that she brings a strong voice from Kampala’s influential social and digital circles. This season promises to reveal the hustle behind the glamour, offering viewers a deeper look into the cast’s personal journeys and ambitions.
“There’s so much about the girls that audiences have yet to discover, and viewers will be impressed by what they learn as they follow their journeys. In their various hats of influence, our cast are channeling ambition into real impact — and they’re ready to show it to the world,” said Judithiana Namazzi Ndugwa, the show’s producer.
Hassan Saleh, chief executive officer of MultiChoice Uganda, said the new season continues the show’s focus on shaping local narratives while celebrating the modern Ugandan woman.
“We are intentional about telling stories that are bold and authentically Ugandan. Kampala Crème brings entertainment but also reflects the evolving identities and experiences of women today. The introduction of a new cast member adds an exciting layer that will keep viewers engaged from start to finish,” Saleh said.
He added that the show has become both a mirror and a megaphone for the ambitions and complexities of modern Ugandan women, noting that the new season promises richer storytelling, deeper authenticity and a fresh dynamic likely to spark conversation.
