Popular American streamer and digital content creator, Kai Cenat, has revealed that Nigeria holds a special place in his heart, describing the country as the first place where he felt “100 per cent love.”
Cenat made the remark during a courtesy visit to Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, at the Lagos House, Marina.
The internet sensation, who first visited Nigeria in 2024, said he returned to the country to follow up on projects and initiatives he began during his previous stay.
“I am glad to be here. I love coming here. When I landed, the love was crazy. Nigeria is the first country I felt like 100 per cent love,” Cenat said.
During the meeting, Governor Sanwo-Olu briefed the streamer on several initiatives of the Lagos State Government aimed at youth empowerment, creative industry development, and tourism growth.
The governor also highlighted the success of the Eyo Cultural Festival organised by the state government in December, noting that the event attracted over 10,000 participants and thousands of spectators, further positioning Lagos as a global cultural and tourism destination.
Cenat’s visit and remarks have continued to spark conversations online, with many Nigerians welcoming his growing connection to the country and its creative ecosystem.
