Atalanta head coach Ivan Juric has praised Ademola Lookman, describing the Nigerian forward as a “spectacular player” following his standout display in La Dea’s 1-1 draw with AC Milan in Serie A.
Lookman netted the equaliser to earn Atalanta a valuable point after Samuele Ricci’s deflected effort had put Milan ahead early in the game. The winger struck just before halftime, finishing calmly from Mario Pasalic’s assist.
Speaking after the match, Juric was full of admiration for the 26-year-old’s quality and mentality.
“He is a particular type of guy, both in training and on the pitch, he is a sight to behold, just a spectacular player. A winner, with incredible determination, and I am very happy for him,” Juric said.
Lookman’s goal was his fourth of the Serie A season, further cementing his influence as one of Atalanta’s most consistent performers.
