Tanzanian singer Juma Jux has shared the story of how he met his Nigerian wife, Priscilla Ojo, describing it as love at first sight.
In a recent interview with Yanga FM Lagos, Juma Jux revealed that he first met Priscilla in Rwanda, not knowing she was a celebrity at the time.
“When I saw her, it was love at first sight. I was like, ‘Wow! This girl is beautiful, I like her,’” he recalled.
He explained that his initial attraction was to her looks, but it was her communication skills and other qualities that convinced him she was the one he wanted to marry. “After we had conversations, I figured out that she is the one I would marry. Even after many meetings, I still didn’t know she was a celebrity until I hosted her in Zanzibar and blogs carried it,” he added.
Juma Jux also admitted that marrying Priscilla has positively influenced his career, particularly by growing his fanbase in Nigeria and across West Africa.
The couple tied the knot earlier this year and welcomed their son, Rakeem, in Canada on August 24, 2025.
