Tanzanian music sensation Juma Jux took to the stage alongside his wife, Priscilla Ojo, to headline the 2025 edition of Detty December Fest in Lagos, which began Thursday night.
According to Daily Post, Juma Jux opened his performance with hits like “Do I” and “God Design”, collaborating with Nigerian rapper Phyno for a memorable set.
The festival featured a host of supporting performers, including Qing Madi, Kashope, Zeez, Mo’Believe, and celebrity hype men Broda Shaggi and Dotun, energising the crowd with a mix of music, comedy, and entertainment.
This year’s Detty December Fest is scheduled to continue until December 31, 2025, with headline performances lined up from international stars. Legendary American rapper Busta Rhymes is set to perform on December 19, while Gunna will close the festival with a headline show on December 29.
Fans attending the event have been treated to a blend of Afrobeats, hip-hop, and global hits, cementing Detty December Fest’s reputation as one of Nigeria’s premier year-end music celebrations.
