Chelsea legend John Terry has revealed the five strikers he found most challenging during his Premier League career. Speaking in a recent TikTok video, the former England international highlighted some of the Premier League’s deadliest forwards.
Terry, widely regarded as one of the league’s best defenders, placed Thierry Henry at number one, admitting: “The one player I got nervous about the night before the game.”
He named Wayne Rooney as a very close second, while Sergio Aguero occupied third place. Terry explained of Aguero: “Again, for someone who is really small, he was so strong and also wanted the fight.”
The fourth spot went to Alan Shearer, with Harry Kane completing his list at number five.
Terry’s rankings provide a glimpse into the mindset of a defender who spent over a decade competing at the highest level in English football.
