Former Chelsea captain, John Terry, has revealed he is growing increasingly concerned that Arsenal could break the Blues’ long-standing Premier League clean-sheet record.
Chelsea currently hold the record for the most clean sheets in a single season, with 15 shutouts achieved during the 2004/2005 campaign under Jose Mourinho.
Before Arsenal’s 2-2 draw at Sunderland on Saturday, Mikel Arteta’s men had conceded only three league goals all season, putting them on track to challenge the milestone.
“I have to say I’m actually a little bit worried now,” Terry said in a TikTok video.
“I’m looking at their fixtures on a weekly basis, seeing where they’re going to potentially concede goals. I have to give them credit, they look very good at the moment. I still think it’s going to be too much to beat our record but being honest, I’m a little nervous.”
