Nigeria National League (NNL) side Sporting Lagos have confirmed the appointment of Jeffery Buter as their new head coach ahead of the 2025–26 season.
Buter, who previously served as assistant to former coach Shola Adegun, steps into the role following Adegun’s move to Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) club Plateau United.
The new boss holds both English FA and Scottish FA coaching licenses and is currently working towards his UEFA C License.
Sporting Lagos are in preparations for the upcoming campaign after narrowly missing out on a place in the NNL playoffs last season.
