
Quenton Marselles Brown, father of Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown, has been arrested and charged with attempted murder following a stabbing incident in Las Vegas.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the altercation occurred Wednesday in a parking lot after Brown allegedly dinged the victim’s car, sparking a confrontation. Witnesses told police Brown then pulled out what appeared to be a knife and stabbed the man multiple times.
The victim was rushed to hospital in critical condition. An attending physician detailed severe injuries, including: a stab wound to the middle of the back, another to the chest near the clavicle, a deep defensive wound to the left hand, damage requiring partial removal of the digestive system, eviscerated bowels, and a broken rib that may need surgical repair.
Brown is currently being held at the Clark County Detention Center, jail records show. It remains unclear whether he has secured legal representation.
