Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has thrown a lavish homecoming party in Lagos to welcome her daughter Priscilla Ojo, her Tanzanian husband Juma Jux, and their newborn son Rakeem back to Nigeria.
The event was filled with pomp, colour, and music as traditional drummers, singers, and dancers greeted the family’s arrival, creating a lively atmosphere of joy and celebration.
In a video shared on Iyabo Ojo’s Instagram page on Tuesday, captioned “Welcome to Nigeria #rakeem_mk”, friends and loved ones were seen joining the festivities. Among the guests was entrepreneur and Priscilla’s godmother, Chioma Ikokwu, popularly known as Chioma GoodHair, who was warmly received by the Ojo family.
The family’s return followed an elaborate 40-day celebration and naming ceremony for baby Rakeem held earlier this month in Tanzania.
Priscilla also shared heartwarming moments from their journey back home via her Instagram Story, expressing deep gratitude to her mother and godmother.
“Rakeem is lucky. Thank you Glamma and Godmother #iyaboojofespris and #chiomagoodhair,” she wrote.
According to earlier reports, Priscilla welcomed her baby boy in Canada on August 24, 2025, before returning to Tanzania, where Juma Jux hosted a grand reception in honour of both mother and child.
The Lagos celebration marks baby Rakeem’s first visit to Nigeria, and fans have flooded social media with congratulatory messages and admiration for the family’s growing bond.
