Popular Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has denied allegations that she introduced a sexual enhancement product, commonly referred to as ‘Kayamata’, to her goddaughter, Fola Tinubu.
The rumour gained traction on social media after controversial blog Gistlover alleged that Iyabo gave Fola the substance. The blog also accused Fola of being involved in multiple relationships, including claims linking her to filmmaker Kunle Afolayan.
Responding via her Instagram Story, Iyabo Ojo dismissed the claims, stating clearly that she does not use or promote such products.
“I don’t patronise such (Kayamata),” she wrote.
The actress further clarified that Fola Tinubu is an adult capable of making her own decisions and that she does not interfere in her personal life.
“First and foremost, Fola Tinubu is an adult. I’m not one to monitor anyone’s life. I don’t discuss intimate matters with goddaughters. I’m a very strict and busy person,” she said.
Describing the allegation as entirely false, Iyabo added:
“Gistlover, saying I gave Fola any form of Kayamata is a lie from the pit of hell. I don’t know who she is dating and I’ve never asked her, nor have I ever given her anything for sexual or relationship purposes. I myself don’t use Kayamata.”
The actress’ response comes amid continued debate online over the viral claims.
