Four countries have secured their spots in the quarter-final stage of the 2025 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup taking place in Morocco.
Italy, Brazil, North Korea, and the Netherlands advanced to the last eight following the conclusion of Tuesday’s Round of 16 fixtures.
Italy cruised past Nigeria with a 4-0 victory, while Brazil saw off China with a convincing 3-0 win.
North Korea were in dominant form, thrashing host nation Morocco 6-1, and the Netherlands edged past the United States via penalty shoot-out after a 1-1 draw in regulation time.
More Round of 16 fixtures will be played today (Wednesday) as the tournament continues.
The FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup Morocco 2025 kicked off on October 17 and will conclude on November 8, 2025.
