Nollywood actor Olatayo Amokade, widely known as Ijebu, has called on Big Brother Naija Season 10 winner Imisi to end her ongoing public feud with her mother.
Ijebu made the appeal in a video shared on his Instagram page, urging the 23-year-old reality star to make peace after the online dispute erupted following her N150 million BBNaija prize win.
Imisi had previously opened up about her traumatic childhood on the show, including being raped at 12 and having an abortion at 13. The conflict escalated after her mother publicly accused her of abandonment, prompting Imisi to respond online.
In his video, Ijebu encouraged Imisi to visit her mother, apologise, and seek forgiveness, describing her mother as her “mini god.”
“Imisi, I know you are a good girl. The Bible said we should honour our parents. This evening or tomorrow morning, I want you to visit your mother, go on your knees, hold her legs, and tell her you are sorry. Let her pray for you. No matter what she might have done to you, she is still your mini god on earth. After this, I don’t want to hear any dragging again online. If I hear anything again, I will be so mad at you,” he said.
Ijebu’s intervention has sparked conversations online about the importance of family reconciliation and respecting parental relationships, particularly in the public eye.
