Super Eagles striker Kelechi Iheanacho says he is in top shape and ready to deliver for Celtic after putting behind him a difficult spell in Spain.
The 28-year-old endured a frustrating stint with Sevilla, failing to score in nine league appearances before being loaned to Middlesbrough, where he managed just one goal in 15 outings.
Following the termination of his contract with the La Liga side, Iheanacho joined the Scottish Premiership champions on a free transfer this summer.
He made an immediate impact on his Celtic debut, scoring in their 2-1 win over Kilmarnock on Sunday.
Speaking to Gazette Live UK, Iheanacho said:
“If you really watch the game, you can see I’m making runs to get the ball. I’m really fit, I’m ready to go for the season.”
