Ibom Angels head coach, Edwin Okon, has pledged exciting football from his team as they compete in the 2025–26 Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) season.
The Orange Ladies kicked off their campaign with a goalless draw against Naija Ratels at the Bwari Stadium in Abuja on Wednesday. Despite the stalemate, Okon reassured fans that the team will maintain their style of play regardless of the opposition.
“I always like good football, I’m an apostle of good football,” Okon told the club’s media team. “Expect good football from Ibom Angels, no matter their class, no matter their levels. I’m a grassroots coach, and I love grassroots football so much.”
Ibom Angels will face Pacesetter Queens in their matchday two fixture next Wednesday as they look to continue delivering quality performances.
