The 2025 Hollywoodbets Super League season concluded in style as the league’s top performers were honoured at the annual awards ceremony held at the Vodacom Dome in Midrand, underlining the competition’s growing influence in South African football.
Broadcast live on SABC 1, the awards drew national attention to a league that continues to build momentum on and off the field.
Players, coaches, match officials and administrators from across the country gathered to celebrate a season defined by competitiveness, tactical evolution and increasing professionalism.
The season delivered high-quality football throughout, with several clubs competing strongly for honours and demonstrating the league’s depth. Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies secured a fifth consecutive league title, while strong performances from TS Galaxy Queens and JVW FC reflected the expanding strength across the competition.
The wide spread of award recipients across clubs illustrated a season rich in talent and consistency.

The evening also highlighted the league’s contribution to the broader women’s game, particularly its role in developing players advancing to national level and strengthening South Africa’s Women’s football pathway.
SAFA chief executive officer, Lydia Monyepao “The Hollywoodbets Super League Awards are an annual celebration of the achievements of players and officials as part of SAFA’s commitment to recognising excellence.
We congratulate all the winners and nominees for their outstanding efforts. We commend Hollywoodbets for coming on board once again with a renewal for the 2025 season and beyond, reinforcing these awards as the league continues to go from strength-to-strength.
The seeds of hope that were planted a few years ago when we partnered with Hollywoodbets in 2021 are now beginning to bear fruit. The league’s growing competitiveness and its impact on player progression to Banyana Banyana are clear,” said SAFA CEO, Lydia Monyepao,” she said.

Hollywoodbets Senior Sponsorship Coordinator Menzi Ngcobo said the awards reflected the collective commitment behind the league’s progress.
