Gospel singer Judikay and her husband, Pastor Anselem Opara, have welcomed their second child, a baby girl named Shekinah Umechukwu Opara.
Announcing the joyous news on Instagram, Judikay described Shekinah, born on February 14, 2026, as “God’s literal love gift to us.”
“On the 14th of February 2026, we welcomed our second baby: Shekinah Umechukwu Opara; The Breath and Manifest Glory of the Lord. She is God’s literal love gift to us,” she wrote.
The birth comes after years of fertility struggles for the couple, including six miscarriages, one of which occurred in February 2025. The timing of Shekinah’s arrival, exactly one year after their previous loss, has made the occasion even more meaningful, highlighting themes of faith, perseverance, and divine timing.
Judikay and Pastor Opara are already parents to their first child, Joshua Ikechukwu Opara, born in 2022. Fans and followers have celebrated the announcement, praising the couple’s journey and the message of hope their story conveys.
