Popular Nigerian gospel minister Dunsin Oyekan has expressed deep concern over the recent wave of violence across the country.
On Tuesday evening, terrorists attacked a Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) branch in Kwara State, killing three worshippers and abducting several others, including the pastor. The attack came just hours after suspected Boko Haram insurgents reportedly killed eight people in Bama Local Government Area of Borno State on Monday night.
Reacting on Instagram, Oyekan described the incidents as “cruel” and questioned the effectiveness of government efforts to curb insecurity. “These killings are too much, senseless, and cruel! Psalm 82:1-8 is my prayer in this season,” he wrote.
The gospel minister further called on God to intervene, urging divine judgment on the perpetrators. “May the Lord judge the enemies of this nation once and for all in this season,” Oyekan added.
His post highlights growing public outrage over recurring attacks and underscores calls for urgent action to protect lives in Nigeria.
