Fans of the popular Nigerian sitcom Papa Ajasco & Company can rejoice as the award-winning season Gen Z Papi is set for a rerun on terrestrial and satellite television across Nigeria and parts of Africa starting November 25, 2025.
Producer Wale Adenuga Jr. revealed that the rerun is in response to overwhelming viewer requests. “The feedback on our Gen Z Papi season has been really awesome,” he said. “Since the weekly broadcast ended in July 2025, we have received numerous calls and messages for a rerun. While we work on a new, exciting season of Papa Ajasco & Company, all 37 episodes of Gen Z Papi will be aired again. All episodes are also available for free on our YouTube channel, ‘waptvchannel.’”
Gen Z Papi follows the titular character, Papa Ajasco, as he navigates superstardom as an Afrobeats musician while managing family challenges and engaging in a playful rivalry with fellow musician Emperor Agu. The season features the iconic cast including Papa Ajasco, Pa James, Mama Ajasco, Boy Alinco, and Miss Pepeiye, alongside new supporting talents such as Jude Chukwuka, Jide Kosoko, Rotimi Salami, Francis Odega, Oluchi Amajuoyi, Yomi Fash-Lanso, Norbert Young, Jaiye Kuti, Shade Ayinke Ola (Iyalegba), Lalude, Shirley Igwe, Ijebuu, and others.
The rerun promises to bring laughter to both long-time fans and new viewers, reaffirming Papa Ajasco & Company as a staple of Nigerian comedy television.
