Galatasaray president, Dursan Ozbek, has confirmed that the club is willing to sell Nigeria international Victor Osimhen, following his impressive spell with the Turkish giants.
Osimhen spent last season on loan from Napoli, helping the Yellow and Reds secure a domestic double. His performances prompted Galatasaray to secure his permanent transfer during the summer, beating competition from Saudi Professional League side Al Hilal.
The striker has recently been linked with a potential move to Spanish powerhouse Barcelona. Speaking to the media, Ozbek stated, “We said that if we bought Osimhen, Galatasaray will benefit from this deal. Given his age and performance, he’s a player who can be sold to another club at any time.”
The statement underscores Galatasaray’s readiness to negotiate a transfer, should a suitable offer arise, keeping Osimhen firmly in the European football spotlight.
