Democracy for Citizens Party (DCP) leader Rigathi Gachagua has accused the government of indiscriminately issuing national identification cards, warning that he will mobilise mass action if the issue is not addressed.
Gachagua, who was speaking in Kiambu County on Sunday, claimed the government is issuing ID cards to pro-government regions while denying those from opposition strongholds.
The DCP leader also hinted at a possible face-off with President William Ruto on Tuesday in Nyandarua during the memorial service of Olkalau MP David Kiaraho.
