Gabon national team manager Thierry Mouyouma has released a 26-man roster ahead of their 2026 FIFA World Cup playoff showdown against Nigeria. The squad was officially presented during a press briefing held in Libreville on Thursday.
Captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, midfielder Mario Lemina, and forward Dennis Bounaga headline the selection. Bounaga enters the tie as Gabon’s top scorer in the qualifying series with eight goals, while the experienced Aubameyang has added seven goals to the Panthers’ campaign.
The crucial semi-final fixture will see Gabon face the Super Eagles at the El Barid Stadium in Rabat on Thursday, 13 November. The Central African side remains determined as they continue their push to secure a historic first-ever appearance at the FIFA World Cup.
