At least four key Manchester United players were absent from training on Thursday ahead of their crucial Premier League clash with Liverpool this weekend.
The missing players include captain Bruno Fernandes, Casemiro, Matheus Cunha, and Amad Diallo.
Manager Ruben Amorim reportedly granted extra rest to players who featured during the recent international break.
Cunha and Casemiro represented Brazil in Asia, while Fernandes played for Portugal in a draw against Hungary. Amad Diallo also impressed for Côte d’Ivoire, helping his team finish top of Group F in the African 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
United will be aiming to record back-to-back Premier League victories for the first time this season when they face Liverpool at Anfield.
