Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) operatives have taken control of the Abuja residence of former Abubakar Malami, blocking access to the property and surrounding street.
Residents and visitors were reportedly prevented from entering the area as a heavy security presence was established by the anti-graft agency.
The EFCC confirmed that the action is being carried out in compliance with a valid court order, emphasizing that the seizure is firmly grounded in judicial authority.
The move follows recent enforcement operations by security agencies targeting several of Malami’s assets across the Federal Capital Territory. The property had been marked for forfeiture during earlier EFCC actions on Monday.
