Send Help is a violent horror/mystery/thriller in which two colleagues must put their past grievances aside and work together to survive after a plane crash strands them on an island.
Sam Raimi (the director) made Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, but modern audiences know him primarily for the Toby Maguire/Spiderman trilogy.
Although, if you are anything like me, you agree that Evil Dead (notably Army of Darkness) is Raimi’s best work, which is why I’m so excited for Send Help.
It takes Raimi back to his horror roots. Early reviews have been extremely kind. The film has a 94 per cent critic rating and an 89 per cent audience score on Rotten Tomatoes.
Critics have praised Raimi’s chaotic narrative, surprising character depth, clever concepts, and unexpected comedy. You can watch Send Help in cinemas today.
