Former Super Falcons head coach, Randy Waldrum, has been named among the inductees into the United Soccer Coaches Hall of Fame.
Waldrum will be honoured alongside three other coaches as part of the Class of 2026 during the 86th Annual United Soccer Coaches Convention slated for January 12–17, 2026, in Philadelphia, USA.
The 69-year-old tactician served as head coach of Nigeria’s Super Falcons between 2020 and 2024, leading the team to the Round of 16 at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup — their best performance in over two decades.
Under his guidance, the Falcons also finished fourth at the 2018 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).
Before his stint with Nigeria, Waldrum managed the Trinidad and Tobago women’s national team and held several successful coaching roles in the U.S. collegiate system, where he earned widespread respect for his contribution to the growth of women’s football.
