Flying Eagles captain Daniel Bameyi has completed a switch to Slovenian outfit ND Primorje Ajdovščina.
The 19-year-old defender signed a three-year deal with the club after sealing the move from Nigerian Academy Yum-Yum FC before the close of the European transfer window.
Bameyi, who can operate both as a right-back and centre-back, spent the previous season on loan at Nigeria Premier Football League side Bayelsa United, where he gained valuable topflight experience.
He is expected to link up with his new teammates after the upcoming FIFA U-20 World Cup in Chile later this month, where he will captain Nigeria’s Flying Eagles.
