Nigeria international Fisayo Dele-Bashiru has been restored to Lazio’s Serie A squad following his recovery from injury.
The midfielder was removed from the Bianconcelesti’s league roster after picking up an injury during the Derby della Capitale clash against Roma in September. His place has now been reopened, with Elseid Hysaj omitted from the squad to accommodate his return.
Lazio reportedly delayed reinstating the 24-year-old because he is expected to join Nigeria for the Africa Cup of Nations in December. Additionally, there have been rumours that the former Sheffield Wednesday player could be sold during the January transfer window.
Dele-Bashiru has made only four league appearances for Lazio this season, but he is now expected to be available for selection when the club travel to face AC Milan at the San Siro on Saturday.
