First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has expressed profound grief over the fire outbreak at Afriland Towers on Broad Street, Lagos Island, which claimed ten lives.
In a condolence message issued on Thursday, the First Lady commiserated with Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the people of the state, and corporate organisations affected by the tragedy, including the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) and the United Bank for Africa (UBA).
She described the incident as a heartbreaking loss, especially for the families, colleagues, and loved ones of those who died, as well as those injured who are still battling to recover.
Senator Tinubu also prayed for the peaceful repose of the departed souls and for the quick recovery of the injured.
