Former Besiktas midfielder, Sinan Engin, has claimed that Fenerbahçe striker, Youssef En-Nesyri, is not on the same level as Nigerian forward, Victor Osimhen.
Engin, speaking during an interview, said he doubts En-Nesyri’s ability to lead Fenerbahçe to the Turkish Super Lig title.
“Fenerbahçe cannot win the championship with En-Nesyri. This man is not even half as good as Icardi and Osimhen,” Engin stated.
En-Nesyri has scored four goals in eight league appearances this season, with Fenerbahçe currently six points behind rivals Galatasaray. The Moroccan forward failed to find the back of the net as his team were held to a goalless draw by Samsunspor last weekend.
Osimhen, meanwhile, continued his impressive form for the Turkish giants, scoring from the penalty spot in a 1-0 Champions League victory over Liverpool last Tuesday.
