The family of a Kenyan man killed in the Russia–Ukraine war is appealing to the government for help in repatriating his body.
Twenty-nine-year-old Clinton Nyapara Mogesa left Kenya in search of a better life in Qatar, but eventually ended up on the front lines of a foreign conflict.
His family is now in mourning after learning that their son and household breadwinner was among those killed in the war.
Relatives say the cost and process of bringing his remains home are overwhelming, and they are urging the government to intervene so Mogesa can be laid to rest in his homeland.
