Following the tragic deaths of Sina Ghami and Abdul Latif Kevin Ayodele in a road accident last December, the families of the late associates of heavyweight boxing champion Anthony Joshua have scheduled their Janaza (Islamic funeral) prayers in London on Sunday, January 4, 2026.
According to a statement released by Boxing King Media on Saturday, the prayer service is set to begin at 10 a.m. at the London Central Mosque. The organisation extended its condolences to the families and friends of the deceased, describing the loss as “deeply tragic”.
Ghami, Joshua’s strength and conditioning coach, and Ayodele, known as “Latz” and serving as his personal trainer, were among the victims of the December 29, 2025, crash along the Lagos–Ibadan Expressway in the Makun area of Ogun State.
Joshua was also involved in the accident but reportedly sustained only minor injuries.
The accident occurred when the Lexus SUV conveying Joshua and his team collided with a stationary truck on the highway, leaving Ghami and Ayodele dead at the scene.
