Nigeria’s Falconets capped off a flawless campaign at the WAFU B U-20 Girls Cup with a 1-0 victory over hosts Benin Republic at the Omnisport Stadium in Adjouhoun on Wednesday.
Ramotalahi Kareem scored the decisive goal in the 16th minute, securing the win for Moses Aduku’s side. The triumph completed a perfect run for the Falconets, who recorded four wins out of four matches, scoring 10 goals and conceding just once throughout the tournament.
Nigeria’s young stars had previously defeated both Benin’s Young Amazons and Ghana’s Black Princesses twice on their way to lifting the title.
This marks the first time the Falconets have won the WAFU B U-20 Girls Cup, highlighting a dominant and historic performance in the regional competition.
