Former Big Brother Naija housemate Tuoyo Ideh has vowed to sue the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) over alleged assault and human rights violations during a recent nightclub raid in Lagos.
The NDLEA reportedly stormed Proxy Nightclub in Victoria Island in the early hours of Sunday, October 26, 2025, arresting over 100 patrons, including socialite Pretty Mike and Tuoyo.
In an emotional post shared on Instagram, Tuoyo claimed he was physically assaulted and humiliated by NDLEA operatives during the raid, an experience he described as traumatic.
“It’s been three days since the NDLEA incident, and I won’t lie, I’m still trying to process everything,” he wrote. “I’m still in pain and traumatized, but I want to use this medium to say a big thank you to everyone who has reached out, from my DMs to calls and messages, it has honestly kept me going.”
The reality TV star stated that he intends to take legal action against the agency for what he termed an “infringement” on his human rights.
“Nevertheless, I have decided to take legal action against the infringement of my human right, and I hope justice will take its full course,” he added.
The NDLEA has yet to issue an official statement addressing Tuoyo’s claims.
The agency has previously warned club owners and partygoers against hosting or attending drug-related events, maintaining that such gatherings violate Nigerian law.
Tuoyo’s experience has reignited discussions on the conduct of law enforcement officers during raids and the protection of citizens’ rights in Nigeria.
