Evicted Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate Big Soso has shed new light on her widely publicised clash with fellow contestant Dede, revealing that the feud ran deeper than the viral “three fishes” comment.
Speaking on Yup Weekly Tea with Princess alongside evicted housemates Doris and Ivatar, Big Soso explained that the tension stemmed from what she saw as Dede’s lack of teamwork and inclusiveness, particularly in the kitchen, a space she described as emotionally significant.
“The kitchen is a very safe place in the house. When you’re cooking, you’re putting all of your emotions into it. There’s this joy that comes. So even people who are angry with you, once they chop, everybody’s happy,” she said.
The conflict escalated when Dede referred to Big Soso’s close allies — Kola, Koyin, and Jason Jae — as her “three fishes.” Encouraged by housemate Mide, Big Soso confronted Dede about her perceived self-centred attitude.
“I told her, ‘I feel like you’re not supportive or a team player. You often put yourself first, and I don’t like that. Can you try to help out and be more inclusive?’ And she responded defensively, saying that she is a selfish person, and that’s when our argument escalated,” Big Soso recounted.
While admitting that some of her words may have been too harsh, she reflected on the incident, emphasizing that true beauty is measured not just by appearance but also by character, integrity, and inclusiveness.
Her revelations provide fans with fresh insight into the dynamics of the house and the emotional intensity behind seemingly small conflicts.
