Anticipation is building ahead of the 9th All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) as organisers unveil a high-profile lineup to anchor one of the event’s most anticipated segments, the Red Carpet.
The glamorous showcase is scheduled to hold on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at the Eko Convention Centre, Eko Hotels and Suites, Lagos. Activities on the red carpet are expected to run from 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm (WAT), setting the tone for the main awards ceremony, which begins at 7 pm.
Popular Nigerian influencer, actor and media personality Enioluwa Adeoluwa will co-host the Red Carpet alongside Kenyan actress Claudia Naisabwa. The duo are expected to guide viewers through arrivals from across the continent, welcoming Africa’s biggest music stars with poise, style and a strong pan-African presence.
Fashion will take centre stage with renowned style commentator Tosyn of Style Infidel leading the fashion watch. Known for his sharp analysis and bold opinions, Tosyn is set to spotlight standout looks, daring fashion risks and defining red-carpet moments.
Joining him is fashion and lifestyle personality Ariane Celeste Moua, who will also offer expert commentary as artistes and celebrities arrive in carefully curated outfits, ranging from classic elegance to bold, statement-making designs.
Speaking on the Red Carpet lineup, AFRIMA Associate Producer Victoria Nkong said the selection reflects the awards’ commitment to celebrating African excellence beyond music.
“The AFRIMA red carpet has become a major entertainment attraction in its own right, a space where music, fashion and culture intersect,” Nkong said. “With Eni, Claudia, Tosyn and Ariane, audiences across the world should expect colour, class and unforgettable moments.”
She added that the Red Carpet offers African artistes and designers a global platform to showcase creativity, confidence and identity ahead of millions of viewers.
AFRIMA 2026 is a week-long celebration running from January 7 to 11. The festival began with a Welcome Soirée for nominees and invited guests hosted by the British High Commission in Nigeria.
Activities continued with the Africa Music Business Summit, bringing industry leaders together to discuss the future of African music, followed by the AFRIMA Music Village at Ikeja City Mall, Lagos, where over 25 African artistes and DJs performed live.
The celebrations will culminate on Sunday, January 11, with the Main Awards Ceremony, which will be broadcast live to audiences in more than 84 countries worldwide.
