Nigerian businessman Emeka Okonkwo, popularly known as E-Money, has unfollowed content creator Carter Efe on social media following a viral altercation that left a recently gifted car damaged.
The development occurred hours after Carter was involved in a heated TikTok livestream confrontation with streamer Peller.
Clips circulating online show both influencers smashing each other’s vehicle windshields with stones during the dispute. One of the cars damaged was reportedly the vehicle E-Money had presented to Carter just days earlier.
E-Money had gifted cars to several individuals during his recent birthday celebration, including actor Chinedu Ikedieze, popularly known as Aki.
The incident quickly sparked reactions across social media, with some users questioning the businessman’s decision to gift Carter the car.
Shortly after the videos gained traction, observers noticed that E-Money had unfollowed Carter Efe, a move widely interpreted as a response to the controversy.
Neither E-Money nor Carter Efe has issued an official statement regarding the social media action as of the time of this report.
