Businessman and singer Emeka Okonkwo, widely known as E-Money, has voiced disappointment after a car he gifted streamer Carter Efe was damaged during a livestream altercation.
The incident, which unfolded on Saturday, involved Carter Efe and fellow content creator Peller, who were seen smashing each other’s car windscreens in a stunt that quickly went viral.
Addressing the matter on Sunday during a visit by the two streamers, E-Money said he was unhappy that the vehicle, presented as a token of appreciation for Carter’s work, was destroyed less than 24 hours after it was gifted.
“To be honest, I wasn’t happy about you guys destroying the car I gifted Carter Efe in less than 24 hours. I gave you the car because I appreciate what you’re doing,” he said in a clip from the meeting.
He described the act as excessive and reminded them that many people were watching their actions online.
“You went overboard by destroying the car. A lot of people were watching you. However, the mistake has already been made. I forgive you. But it should not happen again,” he added.
The episode has continued to spark reactions on social media, with many users calling for greater responsibility among influencers whose content reaches large audiences.
