Nigerian producer and music executive Michael Collins Ajereh, widely known as Don Jazzy, has explained why reconciling with his former wife, Michelle Jackson, is no longer an option.
The Mavin Records founder first disclosed in 2021 that he had once been married, revealing that his drive and ambition contributed to the breakdown of the union. The pair separated two years after tying the knot.
During a recent interactive session with fans on X (formerly Twitter), a follower urged the 42-year-old to consider getting back with his ex-wife since he remains single. Don Jazzy replied briefly, noting that reconciliation is impossible because “she don remarry.”
He has consistently stated that he is not ready to remarry anytime soon, pointing out that his demanding career could again create challenges in a relationship.
Despite his stance on marriage, Don Jazzy said he remains fulfilled, especially through his work in discovering and nurturing some of Afrobeats’ biggest names, including Wande Coal, Tiwa Savage, Reekado Banks, Rema, and Ayra Starr.
