Renowned Nigerian music producer and executive Michael Collins Ajereh, popularly known as Don Jazzy, has called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to hold security chiefs accountable amid rising insecurity in the country.
Reacting to the President’s statement on recent terrorist attacks and the abduction of schoolgirls, Don Jazzy took to X on Wednesday to emphasize that terrorism must not become part of daily life in Nigeria.
“No terrorist should be spared. Our armed forces must eliminate every single one of these perpetrators,” he said, questioning the effectiveness of intelligence agencies. “It wasn’t always like this. Terrorism cannot be a part of our normal lives. Where are they appearing from and disappearing to? Where is the intelligence?”
The music executive stressed the need for stronger oversight of security agencies, urging the President to demand accountability from his security chiefs. “Mr President, please demand more accountability from your security chiefs. This needs to end now, sir,” Don Jazzy added.
His remarks reflect growing public frustration over insecurity and the call for decisive action to protect Nigerians from terrorism and abductions.
