Nigerian disc jockey and billionaire heiress Florence Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, has opened up about the emotional adjustment of returning to her routine life in London after attending her sister Temi Otedola’s high-profile wedding to Afrobeats singer Mr Eazi.
In a video making rounds on social media, the Gelato crooner shared her feelings about transitioning from the glamour of the wedding festivities to everyday reality.
“So I’m back in London. It has been a tough reality check, going back to normal life from Temi’s wedding. Take me back to Iceland,” Cuppy said with a laugh.
The wedding, which has dominated entertainment headlines, reportedly unfolded across three luxury destinations, Monaco, Dubai, and Iceland, blending opulence, intimacy, and adventure.
The couple’s white wedding in Iceland was particularly remarkable, featuring a live performance by American singer John Legend and coverage by Vogue magazine.
DJ Cuppy, who is known for her vibrant personality and close bond with her sister, shared several glimpses from the celebration on her social media pages, describing the experience as “magical.”
The Otedola family’s lavish celebration has continued to generate buzz online, with fans praising its elegance and destination choices.
For Cuppy, however, the festivities seem to have left a lasting impression, one that makes “normal life” in London feel just a bit too quiet.
