American music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs is expected to regain his freedom in May 2028, according to new details released by the U.S. Federal Bureau of Prisons.
The agency confirmed that the rapper, who is serving a four-year sentence, is scheduled for release on May 8, 2028. The announcement comes roughly three weeks after his sentencing.
Diddy was handed a 50-month jail term after being convicted on two counts of interstate prostitution. His legal troubles began in September 2024, when he was arrested by federal agents in New York following a grand jury indictment.
The 55-year-old music executive has remained in custody since his arrest, marking one of the most high-profile criminal cases involving a U.S. entertainer in recent years.
While Diddy has yet to publicly comment on the latest development, his sentencing and imprisonment have drawn widespread attention across the entertainment industry and social media.
