Turkish football pundit, Mehmet Demirkol, has warned that Galatasaray faces “serious problems” without their talismanic striker Victor Osimhen.
The Nigeria international is recovering from an ankle ligament injury sustained while on international duty with the Super Eagles.
Although Osimhen missed Gala’s last Super Lig fixture, he could return for their UEFA Champions League clash with Eintracht Frankfurt on Thursday.
Speaking on the Socrates Magazine YouTube channel, Demirkol stressed the impact of Osimhen’s absence:
“When Galatasaray doesn’t have both Osimhen and Barış Alper, it is a problem. Serious problems arise during starts and pressures. You need to play something else.”
Meanwhile, Galatasaray manager Okan Buruk has already provided a fresh update on Osimhen’s condition ahead of the crunch tie in Europe.
