Veteran Nollywood actor Dele Odule has drawn emotional reactions from fans after sharing a series of introspective messages about pain, resilience, and self-worth on Instagram.
In a deeply personal post, the seasoned actor spoke about the emotional toll of being made to feel cherished one moment and unwanted the next, describing the experience as more painful than being left behind.
“Leaving me is okay, people leave all the time, I’m used to it. What hurts is when you made me feel so special one day and unwanted the next,” Odule wrote.
He further reflected on the contrasting impact of relationships, noting that “the wrong one will find you in peace and leave you in pieces, while the right one will find you in pieces and lead you to peace.”
Addressing emotional manipulation, Odule condemned people who make hurtful remarks and later claim they “didn’t mean it,” calling such actions cruel. He, however, vowed to meet such situations with silence rather than anger.
“After you’ve said the meanest things, you now come back to tell me you never meant it. You’re mean, but I’ll crush your ego with silence,” he added.
Ending his message on a hopeful note, the actor reaffirmed his determination not to let anyone diminish his sense of worth and wished his followers a peaceful weekend.
Odule’s post quickly resonated across social media, with fans praising his honesty and emotional depth. Many described his reflections as a timely reminder of the importance of protecting one’s peace and self-esteem.
