Atalanta captain Marten de Roon says there is still a chance for Ademola Lookman to return to the team if he changes his attitude.
The Nigeria international has been excluded from La Dea’s squad after attempting to force a move to Inter Milan during the summer transfer window.
Since then, Lookman has been training alone and was left out of the squad for the Serie A clash against Lecce, as well as the UEFA Champions League trip to Paris Saint-Germain.
De Roon insists the team remains focused but has left the door open for reconciliation.
“I didn’t disturb him (Lookman). I don’t want to use up too much energy over this situation. We are concentrated on the squad and the players who are here. We are here and the door is always open,” he told Sky Sport Italia.
