The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has began investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of veteran politician Cyrus Jirongo.
In its first statement revealing an official probe into the matter, the DCI says it has examined CCTV footage from the night of his death. Interestingly, it shows him driving into Eagol Petrol Station from Nairobi direction but that he did not fuel his car. A minute later, DCI says, he drives out and turns right towards Nairobi. CCTV then captures the PSV bus ramming into his car.
