Afrobeats superstar Davido has revealed that he would love to collaborate with global music icons Rihanna and Kehlani, describing the potential partnerships as exciting and creatively powerful.
The 33-year-old singer made the disclosure during a three-hour livestream on Twitch with popular streamer and musician Carter Efe, where he spoke candidly about his music journey and future aspirations.
When asked about his dream collaborations, Davido said working with Rihanna and Kehlani was high on his list, adding that a joint project with the Barbadian superstar would produce exceptional music.
Beyond international acts, Davido also expressed interest in collaborating with Nigerian female artists, including Tems, Ayra Starr, and Morravey, highlighting his continued support for emerging and established talents within the Afrobeats space.
The livestream drew significant attention online, attracting over 83,000 viewers and marking a major milestone for Carter Efe. The feat reportedly made him Africa’s most-followed Twitch streamer, surpassing a previous record held by comedian Shank Comics.
The event also yielded commercial success, with Davido facilitating an endorsement deal between Carter Efe and luxury cognac brand Martell.
Davido’s comments have since generated excitement among fans, sparking conversations online about the possibility of future cross-continental collaborations that could further elevate Afrobeats on the global stage.
