Nigerian music star Davido delivered a vibrant performance at the opening weekend of Coachella, thrilling fans with a dynamic showcase of Afrobeats on April 10.
Taking the stage at the Polo Club in Indio, California, the singer performed a 45-minute set that ran from 7:50 p.m. to 8:35 p.m. His entrance set the tone for the night, as he opened with his hit track “Dami Duro,” backed by a live band and a team of energetic dancers.
The performance maintained a high tempo throughout, with Davido delivering a string of fan-favorite songs that kept the crowd engaged and singing along.
One of the standout moments came when fellow Nigerian artist Adekunle Gold made a surprise appearance on stage. The duo performed a medley that included their collaboration “High,” drawing loud cheers from the audience.
